Tonia (Toni) Sontoya
Administrator of the Labor/Management Health Care Coalition of the Upper Midwest
The Coalition is pleased to announce that Ms. Tonia Sontoya has joined the Labor/Management Healthcare Coalition as its new Administrator. Toni comes to us after 20 years experience in the medical field. Her diverse responsibilities included working as a patient advocate, intermediary between patients and insurance payors, and marketing financial instrument options to best serve the interests of all parties. A key strength Toni brings to her role as Administrator is her ability to partner effectively with and satisfy diverse members and their various needs. Toni participated in creating an affiliation agreement with payors that established, her previous employer, the University of MN Physicians as a preferred provider center of excellence. The Coalition is very excited to have Toni in its offices to support Douglas Rubbelke in his Executive Director position.
